How It Works
Second Chance Furniture and Moving operates as a unified enterprise. Men in our program do everything — from picking up donated items to restoring furniture to running the moving operation — gaining hands-on vocational experience every step of the way.
Furniture restoration
Donated furniture and household goods are refinished and restored by program residents, each piece given a second chance to shine.
Retail store
Restored pieces are sold in-store at 7463 Richmond Rd. Residents gain experience in retail, customer service, and operations.
Moving company
Our moving enterprise runs out of the same location — offering residents professional moving experience alongside the store operation.
Where the proceeds go
All proceeds flow back into the overall organization — funding assistance for those who cannot afford care, sustaining the vocational program, and continuing to create job opportunities for men in recovery.
